Printing Technology of 2-Piece Cans Packaging For The First Time In Vietnam

My Chau Packaging Company produces canned food called 2-piece cans which are composed of two parts, the body of the can is attached to the bottom and the lid of the can. The 2-piece can is suitable for canning tuna, herring, sardines, sardines, 2 slices of pork, pate, red crabs, green crabs, fish sauce, shumai, stewed chicken, stewed chicken with ginseng, .... Ready-to-eat foods can be served immediately or reheated. The product uses 2-piece cans that are sterilized at high temperature to help eliminate anaerobic bacteria, which can be preserved for a long time.

The technology of printing 2-piece cans for the first time in Vietnam helps to add more value to the product than using sticker labels on cans.

Two-piece canned goods are made from a metal plate modified into a cylinder with an inseparable end. For this is to connect one end loosely to finally close the can. The act of renovating a sheet of metal without changing its thickness is called "drawing". The operation of renovating a two-piece can into one with a smaller diameter, and therefore a larger height, without changing its thickness is called "redrawing". The operation of thinning the walls of two-piece cans by passing through a circular die is called "ironing". Canned and ironed cans are called “DWI” or “D&I” cans. The DWI process is used to produce cans that are taller than diameter and is particularly suitable for the production of high volume cans of the same basic specifications.
