Custom Tin Cans- Lid and Closing Mechanism
After choosing the shape and volume of your tin, it's time to think about the closing mechanism you want to use. All in all, uCan-Packaging offers four different types of lids for your seamless metal canning. On request, all tops can be equipped with an EPE liner that helps you seal your small tins more tightly.
Perhaps the most common closing mechanism for metal cans is the standard screw top cover. The screw head is easy to open and close by twisting your wrist. They seal tightly and can be fitted with an EPE liner. This makes them great for holding any kind of cargo. Naturally, screw-on lids can only be used on round tins.
For non-circular tins, the most common closing mechanism is the standard slide. Sliding lids are standard lids that slide easily over your empty can. All you have to do is lift the top, and it will slip right out. The great thing about slides is that they can be fitted with an EPE liner and they can be used on any tin can, regardless of their shape or mass.
The window cover itself is not necessarily a closing mechanism. Window tins are small containers with nice see-through lids. As a result, a tin box with a window is great for displaying colorful products. They are commonly used as candy containers, spice containers or candle containers. Window tins can have either screw or slide closing mechanisms depending on your preference.
TOPS HINGES
The hinged tin is usually a square or rectangular tin. Such a tin can be used to store a large number of goods. Most commonly, you will find tins with hinged lids in the food industry, where they are used to hold sweets, tea or coffee. Hinged metal cans can be found in a variety of volumes and they provide an easy and convenient way to seal your tins.
