My Chau Printing and Packaging Corporation (HOSE: MCP) – the only metal packaging enterprise listed on the HOSE – reported its 2024 post-tax profit surpassing the plan by over 35% and soaring 173% year-on-year. The company aims to maintain growth momentum in 2025, with a vision to become the leader of Vietnam’s metal packaging industry by 2030.
The Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) for 2025 was recently held successfully by My Chau Printing and Packaging Corporation (HOSE: MCP), where the company announced its 2024 business results and outlined its 2025 business plans.
Record Profits, Shareholder Value, Digital-First Vision
According to the audited 2024 report, MCP recorded net revenue of VND 487.2 billion. Post-tax profit reached VND 30.1 billion – 35% higher than planned and up 173% compared to 2023. These positive results stemmed from effective cost control, consistent product quality, and optimized operational processes.
For 2025, MCP targets net revenue of VND 503.9 billion and pre-tax profit of VND 34.9 billion – equivalent to 108% and 92% of the 2024 results, respectively.
The company also approved a 2024 dividend plan at a rate of 14% (4% in cash, 10% in shares), and pledged a minimum 10% dividend for 2025.
MCP continues to push forward a sustainable development strategy with key focuses on enhancing product quality, optimizing production costs, shortening delivery times, upgrading management systems, and investing significantly in digitalization and automation. The company also maintains international certifications such as FSSC 22000 version 6.0 to ensure quality and environmental standards in each product – further reinforcing its role as a pioneer in producing safe, eco-friendly metal packaging.
Strategic Vision for 2030: Leading Vietnam’s Metal Packaging Industry with Annual Revenue Target of at Least VND 700 Billion
Founded in 1978, My Chau Packaging is one of the oldest and most reputable brands in Vietnam’s metal packaging industry. From initially producing packaging for food exports, MCP has gradually built a modern system manufacturing a wide range of packaging for various sectors including food, beverages, cosmetics, and light industry.
With nearly five decades of development, MCP has asserted its position through stable production capabilities, strict quality control processes, and strong market adaptability. The company currently operates a factory system capable of producing hundreds of millions of packaging units per year, serving both domestic and export markets.
Looking ahead to 2030, MCP aims to lead Vietnam’s metal packaging market, targeting minimum annual revenue of VND 700 billion, owning two major factories with a total capacity exceeding 150 million products/year. The company aspires to capture over 20% of the domestic market share, take the lead in modern printing technology and eco-friendly packaging, and apply digital technology and automation to 50% of its operations.
